So it is so sad to see all that energy wasted- yes wasted on things like the war on Christmas. I think the Angry Birds app is also so popular because it is so easy to learn. Sure it feels good to hurl a cartoon bird, sure it feels good to feel the surge of collective will during a sears boycott, but if we'd all just be a little more patient, a little more open minded and look into issues a little more deeply- all of this energy could be much better spent. But that's harder to do. It takes more time and more care and that's not what Christma- er, um, I mean HOLIDAYS are about! Everywhere I look I see signs telling me that I deserve a break... I need to take it easy- so why shoud I do anything more difficult than I have to. Am I still writing this? What? I deserve a $8 coffee and a trashy magazine.
